Most US streamers start with a PayPal link, then hit the limits: no alert on stream, funds held for up to 21 days for new sellers, and small disputes around $20 that PayPal does not protect. DonoLink is a tip page that pays you through Stripe in dollars, with alerts in OBS. PayPal support itself is coming soon.
A payment link moves money and nothing else:
Viewers open your tip page, choose an amount and pay. Viewers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, plus Amazon Pay once Stripe has activated it for your account. PayPal is coming soon, and Venmo is not offered. Each tip is created on your connected Stripe account and appears in your dashboard and in OBS within seconds.
On small tips the fees are close. On a $5 tip PayPal takes about 66¢, slightly more than DonoLink and Stripe together, and the two break even around $6.50. On a $10 card tip DonoLink and Stripe leave you $9.06.
The bigger difference is control: your money lands on your own Stripe account and pays out to your bank in dollars on your schedule.
Announce the new link for a few streams and pin it in chat. Swap it into your panels, descriptions and bio on the same day, import your history from a supported platform to keep your leaderboard, and drop the PayPal link once viewers have switched.
