SE.Pay is shutting down: where to take tips next

If your StreamElements tips ran through SE.Pay, the clock is running: legacy SE.Pay has stopped taking tips and shuts down for good on December 31, 2026. StreamElements now asks you to bring your own Stripe account for card tips. DonoLink is a ready-made alternative: a tip page, alerts and payouts in dollars, with your StreamElements history imported.

Leave SE.Pay in four steps

  1. Withdraw your remaining SE.Pay balance.
  2. Create your page on donolink.us and connect Stripe.
  3. Import your StreamElements tips with your JWT token.
  4. Test the DonoLink alert in OBS and replace your link.

What happened to SE.Pay

StreamElements is now part of Razer, and its free tools such as overlays, alerts and the chatbot are still running. SE.Pay, the legacy service that processed card tips, no longer accepts tips and closes completely on December 31, 2026.

StreamElements now requires your own Stripe account for card tips. Look in your StreamElements dashboard for the exact steps on your account.

What DonoLink takes over

DonoLink runs the part SE.Pay used to handle: the tip page and the payment. Viewers pay without an account. Viewers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, plus Amazon Pay once Stripe has activated it for your account. PayPal is coming soon, and Venmo is not offered. DonoLink charges 3.5% per successful tip; Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per card payment to your account, so a $10 tip leaves you $9.06.

Our alerts are plain browser sources that run next to your StreamElements overlays in OBS Studio or Streamlabs Desktop.

Keep your tip history

Paste your StreamElements JWT token and DonoLink imports your past tips through the StreamElements API, with amount, name, message and original date, so your leaderboard and totals carry over. Supported built-in alert widgets are converted too; custom HTML, CSS or JavaScript widgets need a manual rebuild, so test them before going live.
