A free donation link for your stream
Give viewers one link to support your stream without a DonoLink account. Set up your page, connect Stripe and share the link wherever your community follows you.
What does the link do?
Your personal page lets viewers pick an amount and leave a message, depending on your settings. Tips can appear as alerts through browser sources in OBS or Streamlabs Desktop.
Set up your link
- Create a DonoLink account and choose your page name.
- Connect your Stripe account and complete its US verification steps.
- Set your tip options and test your OBS or Streamlabs alerts.
- Share your link with viewers on stream and on your socials.
Where to put your tip link
- Twitch: a tip panel in your channel's About section and a chat command such as !tip.
- YouTube: at the top of your live stream description and in a pinned chat message.
- Kick: your channel's About section and a chat command.
- TikTok, Instagram and X: the link in your bio, if your account can show one.
- On screen: your page's QR code in a corner of your scene.
What your link looks like
Your link looks like donolink.us/u/yourname. Pick a short name that matches your channel and is easy to say out loud, so your community recognizes it.
Ways to get more tips
- Mention your link when you thank someone, and keep the same name on every platform.
- Show a tip goal in OBS so viewers see what their support is for.
- Thank every tip with an on-screen alert; use a bigger alert for larger amounts.
- Test your link on a phone before you go live, so you see what viewers see.
Payment methods and fees
Viewers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and with Amazon Pay once Stripe has activated it for your account. Payments go through Stripe, straight to your connected account. PayPal is coming soon.
DonoLink normally charges 3.5% per successful tip, with no monthly plan. Stripe separately charges its actual processing fee to your account, 2.9% + 30¢ per card payment. A viewer may voluntarily cover only the displayed DonoLink fee.
Common questions
Do viewers need a DonoLink account?
No. They use your public tip page without creating an account.
When does a tip appear?
It shows as a paid tip once Stripe confirms the payment.
Can I use the same link on Twitch, YouTube and Kick?
Yes. One link works on every platform, in your bio and as a QR code on screen. Every tip arrives on the same page and in the same dashboard.
Can I set suggested amounts and a minimum?
Yes. In your settings you choose the amounts shown as buttons and a minimum tip of at least $1. Viewers can still enter their own amount above that.
Are tips tax-deductible for viewers?
No. A tip is a voluntary payment to you as a creator, not a charitable donation, so it is not tax-deductible. Creators must be 18 or older.
